Can We Use the Online Learning Environment to Promote Assessment Success?
Facilitator(s): Ivy Merriot

Roundtable   +   Classroom Practice: assessment   +   High School
Can the online learning environment promote increased "mastery learning assessment" success? In this roundtable, we will learn techniques for using mastery learning assessments in an online environment. These assessments are useful whether you teach a course entirely online, or teach only a section of a course online. Participants will examine how learning styles and intelligences affect their students' assessment and how effectively an online assessment can address these natural differences. We will explore current successful methods and their development, share participants' experiences, and conclude by brainstorming new approaches not yet attempted.
